Pearl and Turquoise Pendants: Inspired by a cameo of Prince Eugene de Beauharnais,
stepson of Napoleon Bonaparte and a bobonniere by Giovanni Beltrani
this delicately designed pendant with chain echoes the decoration of the box and the surrounds of the cameo.
The original, on display in The Gilbert Collection at the Somerset House on London, England, is made of gold.
The box can be dated between 1804 and 1819.
