Pearl and Turquoise Earrings: Inspired by a cameo
of Prince Eugene de Beauharnais,
stepson of Napoleon Bonaparte, and a bonbonniere by Giovanni
Beltrani,
these delicate designed earrings echo the decoration of
the box and the surrounds of the cameo.
The original, on display in The Gilbert Collection in
Somerset House in London, England, is made of gold.
The box can be dated between 1804 and 1819.
For a matching set, wear these pearl and turquoise earrings
with one of the two styles of bracelets, brooch and pendant.
